Addidas

Addidas is another brand that I think will never die out. I think we will also still be wearing Addidas clothing and shoes for the next 50 years. Addidas are contracted with over 800 factories in over 55 countries around the world. There are so many shoes that I could talk about but here are just some examples:  Addidas LA  Addidas gazelle Addidas Superstar

Vans

Vans. What can I say about vans. Another very iconic shoe and has been very popular throughout the decades especially with skaters. Ever since I was young I would see everyone were vans young and old. they are iconic and simple. The actual jaz stripe design on most vans was just some random doodle by the founder of the sneaker Paul Van Doren. In 1966 Paul Van Doren founded Vans with his brother James. They first set up factories in California then throughout the next 4 decades they Opened and contracted factories in China and Vietnam The Old Skool van is an example of a classic shoe that we all remember wearing. The Old Skool can first debuted in 1977 but has since been updated to be more modern

Nike

I think Nike as a brand will never die and everyone will still be wearing their shoes and clothes in 50 or more years. The factories where the shoes are made are located in India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Vietnam and the Philippines. An example of one of Nike’s popular shoes: Nike huaraches Nike huaraches are 23 years old and came into the world in 1991. The creator of the shoe, tinker Hatfield designed the shoe to appeal to runners. Huaraches have released a lot of shoes over the years like: 1991- Nike Air Huarache 1992- Nike Air flight Huarache 1993- Nike Air Huarache light 1994- Nike Air Trainer Huarache '94 2004- Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 2009- Nike Air Max 90 current Huaraches In the last few years the original Nike air huarache from 1991 has resurfaced and has become very popular.

Jordan's

Image
Air Jordan's are mainly manufactured in China. Some of the models are manufactured in other countries like the 2nd model of the Air Jordan line of shoes which made in Italy to make sure that the shoe had a luxury feel to it. Examples of the shoe are Air Jordan I: One of the most iconic shoes of all time. The Air Jordan 1 kicked off one of the most recognisable sneaker line in all of shoes history. The only reason the Jordan’s were created was because Jordan himself didn’t want to sign with Nike. The Air Jordan 1 were launched in 1985. Air Jordan XII: Another very iconic Jordan shoe. These shoes were designed to be lightweight and the dream basketball shoe and that's what they became. The Air Jordan XII was released in 2003 Me myself I'm not into Jordan's because I don't play basketball ,  I think they are too bulky and are very expensive.

Intro

Hype drives most people towards buying clothes. Brands begin small and grow slowly but when a lot of people start wearing and promoting their products it builds a lot of hype around the product. The same goes for shoes, when people in secondary schools start wearing, for example Nike air max 90s their peers want to wear the same shoes and word gets around that the shoes are worth the purchase. Eventually everyone is wearing Nike air max 90s. In my blog posts I will be reviewing different types of shoes very popular in the world at the moment and in the past. I will be talking about the geography of these shoes as well. Hope you enjoy!
